FaZe Clan takes on Team Spirit to Kick off BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 Semifinals
The quarterfinal round of the 2026 BLAST Bounty Summer has wrapped up in Malta, and the semifinal matchups are now locked in for Saturday, August 1. FaZe Clan, Team Spirit, Astralis, and MOUZ are the four survivors still fighting for the trophy, while paiN Gaming became the latest team eliminated from the bracket.
How the Matchups Were Decided
Unlike a standard bracket progression, the BLAST Bounty format lets the teams with lower seeds pick their semifinal opponents, adding a layer of strategy before the guns even come out.
Astralis used that privilege to choose MOUZ as their semifinal opponent, which automatically locked in the other pairing between FaZe Clan and Team Spirit. It is a rematch of sorts for FaZe against a top-tier Russian roster, while Astralis opted to avoid the two remaining teams and take on MOUZ directly.
Semifinal Schedule
Both series will be played as best-of-three matches on Saturday, August 1, with the winners advancing to the grand final on Sunday, August 2. Here is the full schedule:

The Teams Left Standing: FaZe Clan, Team Spirit, MOUZ and Astralis
FaZe Clan enters the semifinals after eliminating The MongolZ in the quarterfinals, relying on their veteran core, including Twistzz and frozen, to close out matches on Malta's stage.
Team Spirit, fresh off a strong online qualifying run, brings donk and zont1x into the mix as one of the most dangerous rosters left; they are also the favorite to win the whole tournament.
Astralis have been one of the surprises of the tournament, knocking out paiN Gaming in the quarterfinals to keep their bounty run alive.
MOUZ advanced past 3DMAX and now face a familiar European rival in Astralis. This matchup could easily go the distance given how close both rosters have looked all week.
What Is at Stake in Malta
Only two teams will leave Malta with a shot at the trophy after Saturday's semifinals, and both series carry real stylistic contrasts, from FaZe's disciplined tactical approach against Spirit's individual firepower, to Astralis and MOUZ trading blows in what could be one of the tighter series of the event.
Beyond the trophy, every match in Malta also carries bounty prize money on the line, giving each roster extra incentive to fight for every round instead of settling for a simple win.
