Keria Overtakes Faker to Set Historic Record at Worlds 2026

Ryu “Keria” Min-seok has surpassed Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok to become the player with the most assists in Worlds history. The T1 support achieved the milestone on Monday, October 26, during his team's win over CTBC Flying Oyster (CFO) in Round 3 of the League of Legends World Championship Swiss Stage.

How Many Assists Does Keria Have in Worlds History?

Keria now has 1,022 career assists at Worlds, compared to Faker's 1,020. The two-assist lead puts the support alone at the top of the tournament's all-time leaderboard.

Before T1's previous match against Dplus KIA, Faker led the ranking with 1,008 assists, just one ahead of Keria's 1,007. In T1's loss to Dplus KIA, Keria recorded five assists and Faker four, leaving the teammates tied at 1,012.

The tie was broken in Round 3. T1 defeated CTBC Flying Oyster 1-0 in 27 minutes and 27 seconds, finishing with 14 kills to CFO's six and a gold lead of approximately 6,200 (56,708 to 50,539). Keria registered ten assists, while Faker finished with eight, giving the support sole possession of the record.

T1 One Win Away From Worlds 2026 Quarterfinals

With the victory, T1 improved to 2-1 in the Swiss Stage and will play a qualification-deciding best-of-three (Bo3) series. Their opponent will be determined by the Round 4 draw from the other teams with 2-1 records.

A win would give T1 their third Swiss Stage victory and secure a spot in the quarterfinals. A loss would drop them to 2-2, leaving one final Bo3 opportunity to qualify. Meanwhile, CFO fell to 1-2 and must win their next series to avoid elimination.
