Which Teams Can Qualify for the Worlds 2026 Playoffs in Round 4?
Bilibili Gaming, Top Esports, LYON, Invictus Gaming, Movistar KOI, and T1 enter Round 4 with 2-1 records. The winners of their three series will advance directly to the quarterfinals at 3-1. The losers will fall to 2-2 and get one final chance to qualify in Round 5.
T1 reached 2-1 after beating CTBC Flying Oyster in Round 3, a match that also saw Ryu “Keria” Min-seok break the all-time Worlds assists record.
Which Teams Face Elimination in Round 4?
Six teams remain in the 1-2 pool, where every match is an elimination series. The losers will each finish with three Swiss Stage defeats and be eliminated from Worlds 2026, while the winners will improve to 2-2.
Both Team Liquid and LOS survived elimination matches on October 26. Liquid swept LPL top seed Anyone's Legend 2-0, while LOS defeated Team Secret Whales 2-0. Both teams had lost their opening two matches and now need another win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The winners of these elimination series will join the three losing teams from the 2-1 group in Round 5 on October 31, where the final three playoff spots will be decided.
