KC Caliste Takes Home the LEC 2026 MVP Award

For the first time in his career, Caliste "Caliste" Henry-Hennebert has been named the League of Legends EMEA Championship MVP of the season.

However, the celebration was overshadowed by a tough loss to Movistar KOI, which eliminated Karmine Corp from contention for the 2026 LEC Summer Split Grand Final.

Caliste is the 2026 LEC Summer Split MVP

Since his debut in 2025, Caliste has established himself as one of the most promising young ADCs in Europe. During his first time with Karmine Corp Blue, he won two LFL titles and the EMEA Masters 2025 Summer event.

After joining KC's main roster in the LEC, he continued his impressive run, winning Rookie of the Year while also helping his team claim the 2025 LEC Winter title.

A year later, he his back among the LEC's award winners after being named the 2026 MVP of the Season. The announcement was made during the LEC Roadshow in Nice, France, in front of his home crowd.

A Bittersweet Award: Defeat to MKOI

Against all expectations, a dominant Karmine Corp side that went 8-0 in the Group Stage suffered a heavy defeat to Movistar KOI on home soil. Despite their strong form and MKOI's struggles throughout the season, the series ended in a 0-3 sweep.

With many expecting the French organization to have a relatively straightforward path through the Playoffs, the team failed to deliver its best performance when it mattered the most.

With this loss, Karmine Corp was eliminated from the 2026 LEC Summer split and will no longer be able to compete for the title.

Karmine Corp had already secured their ticket to the 2026 League of Legends Worlds Championship, which is set to take place in the United States.
