In a stunning turn of events in the world of esports, the Saudi-based organization Falcons has chosen to bench four members of their current CS roster, unleashing a whirlwind of speculation and anticipation among fans and the esports community alike. This dramatic decision signifies a potential rejuvenation for the team, and there's one name that remains constant amidst the transformation.

An Overhaul: NBK-, bodyy, lauNX, and mhL on the Sidelines

Amidst these seismic shifts, the Falcons active roster currently consists only of Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas. With Danny "zonic" Sørensen as the Coach.

The rest of the Squad has been benched. This include:

- Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt

- Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro

- Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak

- Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea

Among the benched players, one notable name is Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt. NBK holds the distinction of being the longest-standing member of Falcons. Having joined the organization in September 2022 during their initial reconstruction phase. Shortly after, Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro became a part of Falcons roster, marking yet another change in the team's lineup. These players, with their experience and skill, had been vital contributors to the team's journey.

The pivotal moment leading to these seismic changes occurred when Falcons failed to make an appearance at the BLAST.tv Paris Major. This setback prompted the organization to reassess and execute yet another overhaul, transitioning to an English-speaking roster. Enter Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, and BOROS, who joined the team in June. This new configuration brought hope, but it was short-lived, lasting only four months before Falcons decided to take the bold step of initiating a massive transformation of their lineup.

New Faces and High-profile Targets

This period of change in Falcons organization has seen the arrival of Danny "zonic" Sørensen as their head coach. However, the new additions don't end there. Falcons have been heavily linked with the imminent signings of two stellar players, Emil "Magisk" Reif and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. These potential additions have generated substantial buzz and anticipation within the esports community.

Additionally, the team has reportedly made progress in securing the services of Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer, who is believed to have reached a verbal agreement with Falcons. Such moves signify the organization's determination to craft a formidable roster that can compete at the highest levels of esports.

What Lies Ahead?

The future of the Falcons organization stands at a crossroads, shrouded in both uncertainty and promise. Their bold decision to bench four key players reflects a steadfast commitment to assembling a top-tier roster capable of competing for esports championships and coveted accolades. With the potential arrival of the likes of Magisk, NiKo, and Snappi on the horizon, Falcons are poised for a new era of competitive strength.

While these high-profile signings hold great potential, the retention of BOROS, a familiar face within the organization, underscores their determination to maintain a semblance of continuity during this transitional period. The question that looms is whether the addition of these star players will elevate Falcons to new heights or if they will encounter challenges in harmoniously integrating these talents into a cohesive unit. Only time will reveal the outcome of these ambitious moves.

There is a cruel irony at the heart of Team Falcons' CS2 project.
