Dota 2 Patch 7.41b Nukes Meepo

Dota 2 Patch 7.41b Nukes Meepo

It feels like we are getting a letter patch every week these days. But that's not a bad thing at all, as the latest update demolishes one of the most annoying heroes in the game.

So let's take a dive into Dota 2 patch 7.41b and see what has changed and who has gained and lost the most from the recent update.

Dota 2 Patch 7.41b hits Consecrated Wraps

We have discussed in-depth our love for Consecrated Wraps but we were never fooled. That item was way too srong and even after a round of nerfs, still needed a bit more tweaking.

The latest update gives Wraps some deserved hits. It now provides five to all stats, instead of six. The item also takes 12 seconds to fully recharge, up from 9. Another item that took a solid hit is Sange and all it's upgrades, as they provide slightly less restoration buffs tthan before.

Dota 2 patch 7.41b gives Ancient Apparition some love

Not many heroes got buffed in the last update but among them Ancient Apparition got a pretty big one. Aghanim's Scepter provides an extra 0.8 strength reduction, up from 0.3 in the past. That's nearly triple the benefit from the item.

He's not the only major winner though. Invoker gained an extra ability point at levels 6,12, and 18, making them bigger power spikes than before. Chaos Knight's Phantasm deals significantly more damage at levels one and two compared to before.

Dota 2 patch 7.41b guts Meepo

It's not all winners though in the latest update. Meepo recieved several (much deserved) nerfs. He is slightly less tanky and mobile than before, while Mega Meepo went from a 35 second downtime ability, to 70 seconds. Praise IceFrog! he has blessed us once again.

Doom is another significant patch loser. His 66 damage talent went from level 15 to 20, greatly delaying his power spike. Meanwhile Scorched Earth deals as much damage at level 4 now, as it did at level 3 before. Now that's an ouchie.

Valve has taken another step to rebalance the game ahead of the biggest tournaments of the year. While we likely need one more patch, it'll probably happen after the next round of LAN's concludes.
