Bwipo Leads Estral to Perfect Run and Brazil Tier 2 Title

Estral Esports capped off a perfect campaign at the Circuito Desafiante 2026 Split 2 in emphatic fashion. With Gabriël “Bwipo” Rau in the top lane, Estral swept KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas 3-0 on Monday (14) to claim the title in Brazil's Tier 2 League of Legends competition.

The trophy was only part of the story. Estral went through the entire second split without dropping a single game, finishing 19-0 across the regular season and playoffs while sweeping all four of their postseason series.

Estral Cap Off a Flawless Circuito Desafiante Campaign

Estral's dominance began in the round-robin stage, where they went a perfect 9-0 to finish alone at the top of the standings. They entered the playoffs as the only undefeated team in the competition.

The switch to a playoff format did little to change the picture. Estral opened the bracket with a 2-0 sweep of RMD Gaming before dispatching Ei Nerd Esports by the same score. That set up a meeting with Vivo Keyd Stars Academy with a direct berth in the grand final at stake.

Against VKS Academy, the reigning champions at the time, Estral were even more dominant. A 3-0 sweep sent them straight to the grand final and extended their unbeaten run to 16 consecutive games.

KaBuM! fought their way into the final through the lower bracket, but they could not put an end to Estral's streak. One more 3-0 sweep sealed the championship and completed a flawless 19-0 run.

Bwipo Wins a Title in His First Stint in Brazil

Former Fnatic and FlyQuest top laner Bwipo arrived in Brazil as the biggest name on a roster looking to improve on Estral's fourth-place finish in the first split of 2026.

His first stint in the country has already produced a championship, but Estral's biggest test is still ahead. The team must now turn its dominant Tier 2 run into a place in CBLOL 2027. Estral have qualified for the promotion series, where they will compete for the spot currently held by LOS.

Estral already know who they will face first. On September 29, Bwipo and company will take on 9z in the second round of the competition.
