YOASOBI x Overwatch Collab: All Skins, Challenges, and More
Japanese pop duo YOASOBI has made its entry into Overwatch through a collaboration, introducing six Legendary hero skins alongside a dedicated in-game event. The collab amplifies the ongoing season's Japanese theme, turning it into a full-blown cultural celebration.
With a Japanese hero and a Tokyo map already in play, Overwatch Season 3: Into the Tiger's Den completes its journey of the country by welcoming YOASOBI into the fold.
The YOASOBI x Overwatch collaboration kicked off with the release of the collab song "Orion," followed by the short story "The Fall of a Sparrow." A vinyl for YOASOBI's latest album was also released, titled "THE BOOK for, OVERWATCH EDITION," featuring Orion as its opening track.
YOASOBI Event Challenges and Rewards
The YOASOBI collaboration event features eight challenges you can complete to earn in‑game cosmetics. Rewards include six name cards, three voice lines, one weapon charm, one player icon, and 30,000 XP. Below are all the challenges and their corresponding rewards.

All eight challenges in the event are identical and fairly simple, requiring you to play just two to five matches each to complete them. However, they must be completed one after another in a fixed sequence.
For example, you need to complete the first challenge, "Rise Together, Fall Together," to unlock "High Score, Higher Stakes," and so on. This means that if your progress for one challenge is at 4 out of 5 and you earn a Stadium win — which counts as four points — only one point will apply toward the current challenge. The remaining three points will not carry over to the next challenge.
Additionally, the YOASOBI in‑game event doesn't feature any hero skins, but it does offer a set of visually striking name cards. The rewards include the YOASOBI Nights name cards for all six heroes, each depicting the hero against a starry night sky.
This is likely a nod to the collaboration song, "Orion," which is named after the constellation. The song draws a parallel between the lives of the Shimada trio — Kiriko, Genji, and Hanzo — and Orion's Belt.
Players have until 11 am PDT on July 20, 2026, to complete all challenges and earn every reward.
YOASOBI x Overwatch Collab Brings Skins for Kiriko, Hanzo, Genji, and More
Since the collaboration's announcement in May, the community has been eager to see what Blizzard has in store for players.
The in‑game Shop has welcomed over 40 new cosmetics as part of the YOASOBI collaboration, including Legendary skins for Kiriko, Genji, Hanzo, Mizuki, Anran, and Juno, along with similarly themed name cards, player icons, voice lines, emotes, victory poses, weapon charms, and sprays.
You can purchase the YOASOBI skins either as individual hero bundles (each containing the hero skin and accompanying cosmetics) or as the mega bundle, which includes all six hero bundles combined. Below are the hero bundles and their contents.

As mentioned, each hero bundle costs 2,800 Overwatch Coins and includes 6–9 items. The mega bundle, on the other hand, is currently available at a 66% discount for 6,900 Coins.
This is the more cost‑effective choice if you're planning to grab multiple hero skins, since the full collection costs just slightly more than two individual hero bundles.
While the six Legendary skins are the collaboration's highlight, some of the other cosmetics are equally eye‑catching.
All heroes featured in the collab come with the Orion Dance emote, which has them dancing to the "Orion" music track — a fun and refreshing addition. The name cards, sprays, and player icons also capture the collaboration's theme really well, portraying the heroes in a vibrant, colorful atmosphere.
The YOASOBI x Overwatch collaboration, along with all its in‑game cosmetics, will expire on July 21, 2026.
