The legendary Spodek Arena in Katowice is set to host the culmination of top-tier Counter-Strike 2 as Team Vitality faces off against MOUZ in the ESL Pro League Season 24 Grand Final. This high-stakes Bo5 will decide who lifts the coveted trophy and takes home $295,000.

Running back the clock to 2025, both powerhouses enter the final in pristine form, having conquered the Swiss Stage 3-0 and going unscathed through the playoffs.

Vitality's Journey

Team Vitality's path to the grand finals highlighted both their raw individual firepower and resilience under pressure. The French-led outfit navigated the Swiss Stage with a clean 3-0 record, recording convincing victories over 1win, Natus Vincere, and Team Falcons.

In the quarterfinals, Vitality delivered a statement performance by sweeping PARIVISION 2-0, where flameZ and mezii both posted dominant performances.

The Semifinals tested Vitality's championship mettle in a thrilling clash against Aurora Gaming. After dropping their opening map pick on Anubis, Vitality executed a dramatic reverse sweep. ZywOo spearheaded the comeback, delivering a career-best performance to equalize the series

Across the tournament, the “Chosen One” has posted a stellar 1.40 K/D ratio and 20.50 kills per game.

MOUZ's Journey

MOUZ reached the grand final with a dominant campaign, demonstrating exceptional consistency and tactical depth. During the Swiss Stage, MOUZ cruised to a flawless 3-0 record without dropping a single map, shutting out M80, FURIA, and Team Spirit.

Their momentum carried directly into the Playoffs, where MOUZ put on a CT-side masterclass against FURIA once again in the quarterfinals. Outstanding contributions from 19-year-old Czech rifler Oldřich "PR" Nový and former Vitality star Spinx kept FURIA from retaliating.

MOUZ faced their toughest challenge in the semifinals, their second series against Team Spirit. They opened the series with a win on Spirit's pick of Dust2. Although Spirit responded with a win on Mirage, MOUZ showed tremendous composure on the Nuke decider.

Led again by PR's sensational 27-kill performance, MOUZ edged out a reverse sweep victory to eliminate Spirit. Now with a tournament favourite behind them, MOUZ now have the biggest challenge ahead of them.

Vitality vs MOUZ Preview

The ESL Pro League Season 24 Grand Final presents a runback to 2025 with the world's elite. Vitality and MOUZ have retaken the top of competitive Counter-Strike, albeit for a short duration.

A central focal point of this series is that both sides are vying for their fourth ESL Pro League title. MOUZ have won Seasons 10, 18 and 19, and Vitality have claimed Seasons 16, 21 and 22. The winner of this series will hold the record as the team with the most EPL titles won at 4.

Furthermore, this also marks MOUZ's third grand final appearance of the season, where they aim to prove that their young roster can convert deep runs into grand final victories.

Head-to-Head

Historically, Team Vitality holds a clear advantage over MOUZ, recording 28 map wins compared to MOUZ's 12 map wins across their prior competitive map encounters. Their most recent meeting occurred in September 2026 at the BLAST Open Fall Semifinals, where Vitality earned a swift 2-0 victory.

Community sentiment heavily favors the French organization. According to Strafe fan predictions, 79% of users predict a Team Vitality victory, compared to 21% backing MOUZ for the upset.

Win Conditions

Team Vitality's Win Conditions

  • Maintain Superstar Impact from ZywOo: ZywOo remains Vitality's ultimate game-changer. In a lengthy Bo5 format, his ability to win round-opening duels and turn eco-rounds with the AWP will be vital to suppressing MOUZ's aggressive riflers.

  • Mid-Round Tactical Adjustments: Captain apEX must leverage his extensive experience to read MOUZ's defensive rotations and adapt quickly during tight clutch scenarios.

MOUZ's Win Conditions

  • Unleash PR and xertioN Early: MOUZ thrives when PR and xertioN generate early entry frags. Establishing map control early in rounds will prevent Vitality from executing structured, set-piece attacks.

  • torzsi neutralizing ZywOo: torzsi must hold his ground in head-to-head AWP duels against ZywOo. Winning the sniper battle on maps like Dust2 and Nuke will give MOUZ the upper hand in map control.

  • Exploit Spinx's Inside Knowledge: MOUZ must utilize Spinx's insights into apEX's calling style to craft effective counter-strategies during the mid-game.

Map Veto Prediction

In a Best-of-5 series, map pool depth and win-rate statistics play a decisive role. Looking at map statistics over the past 3 months:

Vitality vs MOUZ Map Win Rate (past 3 months)
Vitality vs MOUZ Map Win Rate (past 3 months)

  • Both teams will look to remove their weakest maps immediately:

  • Vitality will go for Anubis, and MOUZ will remove Ancient.

  • Vitality is expected to select Dust2 and Cache as their map picks.

  • MOUZ will likely pick Mirage and Inferno.

  • This leaves Nuke as the probable decider map.

Match Prediction - Vitality wins

While MOUZ has displayed impressive individual form and a flawless run through the earlier rounds, Team Vitality holds the clear edge in a long Best-of-5 series. Vitality's superior map pool depth gives them a distinct advantage in veto flexibility.

Furthermore, the individual brilliance of Team Vitality provides them with unmatched firepower under pressure. Expect MOUZ to push hard and capture their comfort map, but Vitality's experience and clutch capacity should prove decisive over five maps.

Final Score Prediction: Team Vitality wins 3-1 to claim the ESL Pro League Season 24 Championship at the Spodek.
