Opening Matches

Kicking off the playoffs with the Knockout Rounds, four teams will face off against each other, fighting for survival in the tournament. The winners of these matches will advance to face the top two teams from the Group Stage, while the losers will get eliminated.

Gen.G Esports vs Rex Regum Qeon

Gen.G enters the playoffs as one of the clear favorites, riding the momentum of their historic victory at VCT Masters Shanghai. Their triumph marked the Pacific region's first international trophy, and they aim to secure a domestic title next. But with their recent loss against Team Secret, the giants are looking very vulnerable.

On the other hand, Rex Regum Qeon has undergone a remarkable transformation. Evolving from a weaker team into a formidable contender on stage. The addition of Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha and strong performances by David "xffero" Monangin have been instrumental in their resurgence. This also marks RRQ's first appearance in the Pacific League playoffs. Eager to establish themselves as a top team, RRQ will bring their relentless determination to the match.

However, Gen.G’s recent form and experience on the big stage make them the favorites to advance and face Paper Rex in the Upper Bracket Semifinals.

Team Secret vs Talon Esports

Team Secret faced early exits in both Stage 1 and the Play-in stage at Kickoff. With renewed focus and determination to break the playoff curse, they aim to finally advance further and prove they can compete at the highest level. With the team firing on all cylinders and recently felling giants Gen.G, Team Secret are going in undefeated in Stage 2. This kind of form will make sure that they are not taken lightly on the stage.

Talon Esports has shown steady improvement throughout the season. But the team has shown significant progress and enters the playoffs as underdogs eager to prove their worth. Their gradual improvement makes them a serious threat. However, their recent losses against DRX and ZETA Division puts a spanner in the works and left a lot to be desired.

Team Secret's resolve and desire to overcome past disappointments give them a slight edge in this matchup. Expect a fiercely contested battle, but Team Secret’s determination might just push them past Talon to face DRX in the next round.

The Road to VALORANT Champions

With the top three teams from the playoffs qualifying for VALORANT Champions 2024, the stakes are incredibly high.

However, Paper Rex has managed to accumulate enough Championship Points to qualify for Champion, making them the first Pacific team to do so.

With a blend of established powerhouses and hungry challengers, the battle for the title and the Champions qualification spots will be fierce. Fans can look forward to thrilling matches, strategic brilliance, and unforgettable moments as the best teams in the region clash for glory.
