VCT Americas Stage 1 Playoffs: Format, Fixtures, Schedule and More

The VCT Americas Stage 1 regular season concluded yesterday with LOUD and G2 Esports securing their playoffs spots. The five week long affair featured multiple ups and downs and will enter its second stage starting 8th May.

Six out of the eleven VCT Americas teams have qualified for the upcoming Playoffs. Let’s go over the details of the upcoming Shanghai qualification fiesta.

VCT Americas Stage1 Playoffs Format, Fixtures and Schedule:

The VCT Americas Stage 1 started with eleven teams vying for the three VALORANT Masters Shanghai spots.

The first stage of competition, the regular season, featured the two groups Alpha and Omega playing each other for Playoffs contention. Six out of the eleven competing teams qualified for the playoffs after five weeks of action.

The Playoffs will start with two knockout games featuring the second and third seed from both groups. The winner of the games with the top seeds from each group will play a four-team double-elimination bracket.

The top three teams in this bracket will represent Americas at VALORANT Masters Shanghai.

The fixture and schedule for upcoming VCT Americas Stage 1 playoffs is as follows:

    • May 9 14:00 PM PT - Upper Semifinal 1 // KRU Esports vs. Winner of Game 1
    • May 9 17:00 PM PT - Upper Semifinal 2 // Leviatan vs. Winner of Game 2
    • May 10 14:00 PM PT - Upper Final
    • May 10 17:00 PM PT - Lower Round 1
    • May 11 14:00 PM PT - Lower Final
    • May 13 14:00 PM PT - Grand Finals
