The upcoming Valorant Episode 8 Act I brings a new weapon, agent balance updates and multiple QoL changes. Additionally, following the patch tradition, it will also introduces the new Kuronami bundle.

The upcoming skin bundle comes straight outta the world of shinobi themed around rains and thunderstorm, featuring a new melee type. The ‘Kuronami no Yaiba’ is a chained kunai, something yet to be seen in Valorant or any other shooter.

The devs have also exceeded expectations with the ‘Finisher.’  The finisher invokes the rain ‘literally.’ This is one of the most immersive Valorant finishers since Valorant Champions bundle and it also explains the price for the weapon.

Let’s explore what the bundle has to offer.

Valorant Kuronami Skins, Variants, Melee and Cards

The Valorant Kuronami bundle includes the aforementioned ‘Kuronami no Yaiba’ melee and weapon skins for Vandal, Marshal, Sheriff and Spectre. There are four color variants; White, Black, Purple, and Blue.

Each skin has four levels (similar to all other premium skins) and the final level unlocks the Finisher. The highlight for the bundle is the melee and the immersive finisher. The bundle also features a Gun buddy, Player card and a spray that can be bought for free with the bundle.

Bundle and Weapon Price

The amazing melee and finisher implies an exclusive price tag for the exclusive weapon bundle. The total bundle costs 9500 VP, with melee ‘Kuronami no Yaiba’ at 5350 VP and individual weapons costing 2375 VP.

Players have to spend a total of $95 for the new bundle. To completely upgrade the bundle without radianites, the total cost shoots up to $295 (credits r/Valorant post by u/Fidler_2k).

The new bundle will hit Valorant alongside Valorant Patch 8.0 going live today. Will you buy the bundle? What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
