Due to the role's strengths being particularly difficult to quantify, debate often swirls around who might truly be the best Support in the world. This ranking will be a reflection on these players' current form, capacity to perform under pressure, influence in their teams, champion pools, and Worlds meta affinity.

5. ON (BLG)

Wenjun "ON" Luo may not have been in hot form all throughout the year, but his partnership with Elk continues to form one of the most dangerous and unpredictable Bot Lanes in the world. ON may not always be on, but when he is, he's possibly the most effective Support player at taking over a game.

After falling just one game short of the trophy last year, BLG will need every one of their pieces to find solid ground at Worlds 2025 if they want to come away with the title this time around.

4. Keria (T1)

Despite T1's roller coaster of a year leading up to Worlds, Ryu "Keria" Min-seok remains one of the very best Support players on the planet. With Fearless Draft in full effect, T1 will be glad to have a player like Keria on the roster. For reference, Keria had the most unique champion picks through the 2025 LCK Playoffs out of all Support players with 12 different champions played.

Whatever form Keria may have shown earlier in the year, he always finds a way to perform on the biggest stage. Ever since he joined T1 back at the end of 2020, the team has never been eliminated from Worlds before the semifinals. If there was ever a Support player that was instrumental to his team's gameplan, that is Keria.

3. Kael (AL)

This may be Kim "Kael" Jin-hong's first-ever Worlds, but he arrives at the biggest stage as one of the sharpest players in his role. Kael's form and his ability to work in tandem with Tarzan to create plays around the map for his team have been pivotal in launching Anyone's Legend into the top of the League of Legends international scene.

Like Keria over in the LCK, Kael demonstrated the full extent of his champion pool by playing the most unique champions (12) throughout the 2025 LPL Split 3 Playoffs. After back-to-back second place finishes at MSI and the Esports World Cup, it will be interesting to see whether Kael still has some surprise picks tucked away that could propel Anyone's Legend at Worlds.

2. Duro (Gen.G)

Joo "Duro" Min-kyu may be a newcomer to the Worlds stage just like Kael, but he's no stranger to the feel of an international trophy. After letting go of Support veteran Lehends at the end of 2024, Gen.G made the bold call to get Duro into the squad when the player had less than half a year's experience in the LCK. And boy, did that call pay off.

Throughout the year, Duro has shown to be the perfect piece to compliment Ruler's return to the squad. His ability to find the right engage and create space for his star ADC in team-fights was crucial to Gen.G's trophy run at MSI 2025, earning Duro his first international trophy at his first-ever international tournament.

Leading to Worlds 2025, Duro was selected LCK 1st All-Pro in just his second year in the league, capping off a phenomenal year with some worthy recognition.

1. Delight (HLE)

For the second year running, Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong arrives at Worlds as our pick for the best Support player at the tournament. Right now, this year's Worlds meta seems perfectly suited to Delight, a player that is consistently able to find fantastic engage angles on picks like Rakan, Rell or Alistar to set his team up for success.

While Hanwha Life Esports may have fallen just short of the LCK trophy ahead of Worlds, Delight finished the playoffs with the highest KDA (4.89) and the highest number of assists per game (12.8) out of all Supports players in the league by a considerable margin, demonstrating why he's consistently thought of so highly in his role.
