Finally Confirmed

Popular streamer Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang has officially announced his new Valorant roster. Rumors have swirled for weeks on the roster members and a week ago, it was confirmed by Jeremy that he had signed three of the members. However, now it has been confirmed, with his official announcement on his Twitter account.

He has named the roster DSG, or Disguised, as an homage to his online moniker. Moreover, he has stated that he sought a team name that would be approachable to sponsors in the future. The roster name nods to its founder whilst maintaining enough independence as an esports brand.

Serious Contenders

Whilst easy to dismiss as the yen of a content creator seeking to enter the Valorant esports sphere, “Disguised Toast” has been an ardent fan of the Riot Games’ product for a long period and has expressed interest in the past in creating a competitive roster. The fruits of this, can be seen in the quality of the signings he has procured.

The new DSG roster is as follows:

  • Joshua “Steel” Nissan
  • Drake “Exalt” Branly
  • Amgalan “Genghsta” Nemekhbayar
  • Damion “XXiF” Cook
  • Joseph “Clear” Allen

DSG has also procured the services of former Knights coach and competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Kyle “OCEAN” O’Brien. Having recently led the Knights roster to success in the latest NSG Summer Championship Open, he now looks to lead a mixed squad captained by former 100 Thieves and T1 In-Game Leader “Steel”. Moreover, the former Knights core were strong competitors who frequently held the title as the gatekeepers to Tier 1 Valorant.

Rounding out the roster is newcomer “Clear”, who has been hyped as one of the top upcoming talents in the region. Specialising in Duelists and entries, “Clear” has the makings of a future superstar.

DSG will be competing in the VCT NA Challengers Open Qualifiers beginning from the 9th of Jan. More information here.
