Starting October 15, Malta will host 8 teams for the Thunderpick World Championship 2025. The two stage, four day event will be a quick stop for the teams before they head to IEM Chengdu.

Teams and Format

Thunderpick World Championship features two stages:

Group Stage:

  • Eight teams will form two groups of four

  • Each group plays a double-elimination bracket
  • Only two teams qualify for each group
  • All games are Bo3

Thunderprick World Championship Group Stage

Playoff Stage:

  • 4-team Single Elimination Bracket
  • Intergroup pairings
  • All games are Bo3

Schedule and Results

The tournament kicks off October 15 with the Group stage. The complete schedule for the tournament is as follows:

    • 10:30 am CEST: Group A Winners
    • 1:30 pm CEST: Group A Elimination
    • 4:30 pm CEST: Group B Winners
    • 7:30 pm CEST: Group B Elimination
  • Friday, October 17:
    • 3:00 pm CEST: Group A Decider
    • 7:30 pm CEST: Group B Decider
  • Saturday, October 18:
    • 04:00 pm CEST: Semifinal 1
    • 07:30 pm CEST: Semifinal 2
  • Sunday, October 19:
    • 01:30 pm CEST: Third Place Finisher
    • 05:00 pm CEST: Grand Finals
