Earlier today, Team Vitality Valorant announced the addition of Emil “runneR” Trajkovski to the roster. The 18 yo Macedonian will join the ceNder and Destrian as a duelist for the team. He previously played for Diamant Esports and helped them reach the VCL East Surge Playoffs. With addition of "runnerR", Vitality finally starts its rebuild for VCT 2024.

The Challengers - Team Vitality Valorant:

The French Team Vitality started their Valorant division in 2021. The team failed to qualify for the EMEA events. In 2022, they played in the French VRL circuit. They won the second stage of VRL France, attending the VRL 2022. The team made it to the Grand Finals of the event. FUT Esports edged them out in game to win VRL 2022.

When the team was announced as a VCT EMEA partner, they announced the addition of Destrian, ceNder and Twisten to the Bonecold-MOLSI duo.

The new Vitality wasn’t the top team on paper but had great potential. At VCT LOCK//IN, they won over Global Esports in the opening game but lost to Leviatan to get eliminated. Come VCT EMEA, the team started strong, defeating Team Liquid and KOI. But they only won one out of the next six games, these losses put their playoffs spot in jeopardy.  Fortunately, they clutched up against against Team Heretics to secure playoffs. In the playoffs, FUT esports eliminated them.

The biggest shocker for Team Vitality came much later. On June 7th, Twisten, Team Vitality’s superstar committed suicide after a long battle with depression. The team decided to step back from VCT EMEA LCQ shortly after and announced they will not be competing for the rest of the season.

The latest addition to the Hive - runneR:

"runneR" started his Valorant career in December 2021 with Balkan Stars. With Balkan stars, he won multiple T3 events and was later picked up by Diamant Esports. With Diamant, he continued his winning ways and established himself as a strong rookie in Europe. During his time in Diamant, he also qualified for the Redbull Campus Clutch 2022, and secured a 3rd-4th finish at the event. Diamant played the VCL East Surge in 2023, runneR was the star duelist for the squad. He was amongst the best players in the VCL.

"runneR" will be the duelist in his new home, Vitality. He will fill Twisten’s spot. With his experience playing Duelist, runneR will be another upcomer who’d make his international debut with Team Vitality. Joining the team, "runneR" talks about himself, his favorite agent and his goals for the upcoming season in the introductory video.

Team Vitality has just started their rebuild and will need two more players to complete the roster ahead of VCT 2024.
