The story of Team Heretics' cameback from a rough season has to be one of the bests in VALORANT esport. The below-average, mediocre squad of 2023 was completely rebuilt around the IGL Boo, transforming their fates in 2024.

The 2024 Team Heretics emerged as the most consistent top international teams. They are easily the best team of 2024 VCT EMEA, and despite not winning VALORANT Champions, are easily top 3 squads of the year if not the best.

For a team with three rookies, much of their success can be attributed to the support of the coaching staff and Boo's leadership. Even when playing with a substitute in Madrid and Shanghai, Boo’s shotcalling and performance provided the much-needed stability that helped the team secure significant results. While they might not have the silverware to show for it, their exemplary performance on the server has left a lasting mark on VALORANT enthusiasts.

Boo’s leadership has undoubtedly justified the trust placed in him by the organization, so it comes as no surprise that Team Heretics has extended his contract through 2026. With the contract extension, Team Heretics retains the complete squad for VCT 2025.
