Seven Years in the Making: Solary Are EMEA Masters Winter 2026 Champions

Seven Years in the Making: Solary Are EMEA Masters Winter 2026 Champions

It finally happened. After seven long years, countless near-misses, and more heartbreak than any fanbase should have to endure, Solary are EMEA Masters Winter 2026 champions.

The French organization swept Galions 3-0 in a dominant Grand Final performance on April 21, 2026, lifting the trophy for the very first time in their history.

A story written over seven years

Solary isn't just any French esports team. They're one of the founding clubs of the LFL when the league launched back in 2019, alongside Vitality.Bee. While others came and went, Solary stayed.

Through roster changes, disappointing split after disappointing split, and years of watching rivals hoist trophies they could only dream about, the organization never walked away. That loyalty finally paid off.

The road to this title was far from smooth. Solary fell to Galions 3-1 in the Upper Bracket Final, forcing them into the Lower Bracket. They then survived a punishing 3-2 thriller against MISA Esports in the Lower Bracket Final before punching their ticket back to the Grand Final. The comeback narrative was already writing itself.

Galions didn't see it coming

In the Grand Final rematch, Solary looked like a completely different team. Galions, who had beaten them just weeks earlier, ran into a brick wall.

Solary took all three games with conviction, leaving no room for doubt and no chance for a Galions response. The sweep sent a clear message: this wasn't luck. This was a team peaking at exactly the right moment.

The core of the squad, built around a roster featuring Kryze and Zicssi, delivered when the pressure was at its highest. Those two were practically carrying the team on their backs in the Lower Bracket Final against MISA Esports, and they showed up again in the Grand Final. That kind of consistency across such a grueling bracket run doesn't happen by accident.

This one belongs to France

This title carries weight beyond just Solary, with Karmine Corp now competing in the LEC, Solary and Vitality.Bee are the last of the original LFL orgs still standing, and now one of them has finally broken through at the European level.

For the French competitive scene, seeing a founding club lift the EMEA Masters trophy feels like a full-circle moment. Seven years of patience, persistence, and belief in the project. All worth it.
