On Day 5 of the VALORANT Champions Seoul 2024 playoffs, Sentinels and Fnatic clashed in a highly anticipated elimination match. The intense best-of-three series ended with Sentinels securing a 2-1 victory, sending Fnatic home and keeping their championship hopes alive.

Sentinels 2-1 Fnatic

The series began with both teams winning on their map picks—Sentinels made a comeback on Sunset, while Fnatic answered back with a solid performance on Bind. This set the stage for a thrilling decider on Lotus.

Although Fnatic managed to win the pistol round and the one following, they couldn't maintain their momentum. Sentinels, driven by an outstanding performance from Zachary "zekken" Patrone, took control of the map. Fnatic struggled to mount a defense, ultimately falling 13-6, giving Sentinels the series win.

This victory keeps Sentinels in the running for the championship and extends Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi's quest for a second Champions trophy. Despite a challenging year marked by disappointing finishes in Stage 1 and 2 and a failure to qualify for Shanghai, Sentinels now have the chance to close out the season with two international trophies and a regional title.

On the flip side, Fnatic’s early exit from Champions Seoul 2024 raises questions about their international prowess. Despite their dominance regionally, their inability to secure an international trophy this year—coupled with their 7th-8th finish in Shanghai and now a 5th-6th finish in Seoul—leaves room for doubt.

Sentinels will now prepare to face the winner of Team Heretics vs. DRX in the Lower Bracket Semifinals. With another elimination match ahead, they'll need to maintain their sharp form to advance further.

Is VALORANT Crossplay? PC, PS5, Xbox & Mobile Explained (2026)

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
