Last year during the off-season, Riot Games announced the new ecosystem for Valorant Esports. The new VCT ecosystem introduced three regional leagues, thirty teams and a challenger league.

Amongst other promises of Riot’s partnership program was the financial support for the partner teams. This included the introduction of in-game VCT team bundles that’d directly support the partner teams.

Riot did confirm the team capsules earlier this year but there hasn’t been an announcement regarding the VCT team bundles. Today, popular Valorant data miner ValorLeaks confirmed VCT team capsules coming next year.

These team capsules will be available for all the thirty partner teams. They will feature a Classic skin, a player card and more that will showcase the team.

These team capsules will help the community express their love for the teams and also help the teams financially. With Riot’s experience with creating special edition skins and bundles, the VCT team capsule will be a definite success.

The VCT team capsules unfortunately won’t include the ascended teams and are exclusives for original VCT partner teams. While all the details for VCT team capsules are not certain, it is certain they’d come with VCT 2024.

VCT 2024 will also introduce multiple changes including an introduction of VCT China featuring ten more teams. A new format with a region-locked kick-off event followed by a Masters event. The year will feature two Masters events and conclude with Valorant Champions 2024.

Team Vitality CEO Neo: "For Us to be a Global Leader Means Being a Contender at EWC"

Team Vitality remains one of the most influential and well-known esports organizations to date. The Paris-based org fields over 20 esports teams in various esports, though their immensely impressive results in Counter-Strike take center stage.  Being one of the organizations present at Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris, we managed to speak with Fabien "Neo" Devide, Co-Founder and CEO of the Hive, just after an interview with Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, at the opening press conference at EWC. Neo provided a ton of insight into the organization's participation at this year's edition of EWC in Paris. He expressed his desire for the org to perform to the highest standards, but also highlighted that rivalry is key to grow the ecosystem. Additionally, Neo gave strong opinions on the growth of mobile esports following last year's Vitality's takeover and merger with Indonesian side Bigetron, stressing the need for innovation and following ideas in the east, as much as the west.
