PGL has officially unveiled the list of invited teams for the upcoming PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen closed qualifiers. These invitations align closely with the preliminary list disclosed in mid-December.

Regional Standings Determine Invites

A total of 44 teams have secured direct invites based on their positions in the Valve Regional Standings. The selected teams will be joined by participants from open qualifiers, and those who emerge victorious in the online closed qualifiers will progress to the Regional Major Rankings (RMRs) held on LAN.

Notable Changes in the Invite List

Several alterations have occurred since Valve last updated their Regional Standings, after the end on competitive play. Evil Geniuses has withdrawn from North America, making way for Wildcard. In Europe, 1WIN's spot has transitioned to AMKAL due to core adjustments, and Looking For Org has withdrawn in Oceania.

Invite Breakdown by Region:

Europe A

Europe B

North America

South America

Oceania

China

East Asia

Middle East

As the teams prepare for the closed qualifiers, anticipation is high for intense competition across regions. The PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen closed qualifiers promises to be a battleground where only the best will advance to the LAN-based RMRs. Stay tuned for more updates on the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen!
