Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo has reached 20 notable career titles, moving ahead of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač in HLTV's trophy count. The milestone came after FURIA won PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 on Saturday, October 31. The Brazilian side defeated Nemiga 3-2 in the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament's grand final.

At 35, with 2026 set to be his final year as a professional player, FalleN has entered HLTV's top 20 players by trophy count. He now has 20 titles, compared with 19 for NiKo and 18 for s1mple. Seven of FalleN's trophies have come since he joined FURIA in 2023.

How Does HLTV Count FalleN's Titles?

The comparison is based on the Major titles and other notable trophies displayed on HLTV player profiles. It does not include every tournament each player has won, as some events fall outside that selection.

FalleN's record consists of two Major titles and 18 other notable trophies. NiKo has one Major and 18 other notable trophies, while s1mple has one Major and 17 other trophies recognized by HLTV.

At the top of HLTV's historical trophy count are Dan “apEX” Madesclaire with 41, Robin “ropz” Kool with 34, and Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen with 31.

The comparison with NiKo has an interesting twist. In June, NiKo won his first Major when Falcons swept FURIA 3-0 in the IEM Cologne Major 2026 grand final. Four months later, FalleN has moved ahead of NiKo in HLTV's trophy count.

How Many Titles Has FalleN Won With Each Team?

FalleN's 20 trophies are spread across four organizations. Most came during the dominant years of Luminosity Gaming and SK Gaming, but his recent success with FURIA accounts for more than a third of the total.

TeamTitlesYears Won
Luminosity Gaming32016
SK Gaming92016 to 2017
MIBR12018
FURIA72023 to 2026
Total202016 to 2026

The first major trophy on the list came in 2016, when FalleN led Luminosity to victory at MLG Columbus. A few months later, now playing for SK Gaming, he won ESL One Cologne. Those two Majors in the same year marked the peak of that generation of Brazilian Counter-Strike.

SK added another eight titles to this count in 2017, including IEM Sydney, ESL One Cologne, EPICENTER, and ESL Pro League Season 6. FalleN also finished second in HLTV's individual player rankings for 2016 and sixth in 2017.

FalleN's Return to Winning With FURIA

After winning the ZOTAC Cup Masters with MIBR in 2018, FalleN went more than five years without another international tournament victory included on this list. The drought ended in December 2023, when FURIA beat Apeks 3-1 in the Elisa Masters Espoo final, after the move to CS2.

FalleN began adding titles at a faster pace in 2025. Following the additions of Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, FURIA won four tournaments that year: FISSURE Playground 2, Thunderpick World Championship, IEM Chengdu, and BLAST Rivals Season 2.

FURIA added two more trophies in October 2026. The team first won the Thunderpick World Championship, then followed it up less than two weeks later with the PGL Masters Bucharest title. The back-to-back victories brought FalleN's career tally to 20.

In Bucharest, FURIA needed all five maps to defeat Nemiga. After losing Ancient 13-2, the Brazilians bounced back with wins on Dust2 and Cache, dropped Mirage, and secured the title with a 13-6 win on Nuke.

Which Tournaments Will FalleN Play Before Retiring?

FalleN announced during IEM Rio in April that he would retire from professional play at the end of 2026. FURIA still has IEM Beijing 2026, November 2 to 8, and BLAST Rivals 2026 Season 2, November 11 to 15, on its schedule. The team's final major event of the year is expected to be the PGL Major Singapore, which runs from late November through December 13.

FalleN finished runner-up at the Cologne Major earlier this year, losing to NiKo's Falcons. FURIA currently tops HLTV's projections for the Americas, although official invitations will not be finalized until November 2. With two Major titles from 2016, the Brazilian could have one final opportunity in Singapore to claim a third before retiring.
