Parker will stand-in for Tundra Esports at PGL Wallachia Season 7

Tundra Esports has recently announced that David "Parker" Nicho Flores will be their stand-in carry during PGL Wallachia Season 7. Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko most likely had visa issues due to his Russian nationality.

The announcement was revealed on Tundra's official Twitter profile (@TundraEsports) and had a lot of people double-checking the profile to make sure it was not a parody account.

Parker Playing For Tundra Esports

After Parker suddenly got benched during DreamLeague Season 28, the last thing anyone expected was that he would get another chance to play in professional matches anytime soon.

Unexpectedly, after winning this very same tournament, Tundra Esports' announcement showed us all that Parker not only got a chance to play, but also "fell up," going from paiN Gaming to a two-time TI champion organization.

Parker won the PGL Wallachia Season 2 while playing for Heroic.

The tournament will begin on March 7 and features 16 teams from all over the world fighting for a share of the million-dollar total prize pool. Parker has already won PGL Wallachia Season 2 playing for Heroic, marking the first major tournament win for a South American team.

Pure Confirmed His Visa Was Denied

Pure confirmed his visa was denied on his Telegram channel (@puredota187). Despite the frustrating news, he joked about it, saying that "They don't let you win several tournaments in a row."

Pure was denied a visa but he doesn't seem to be too upset about it.

While skipping a tournament is a bad idea when it comes to maintaining consistent performance, this could turn into an opportunity to rest before ESL One in Birmingham and maybe get an edge over carries that will play at Wallachia.

Closing Thoughts

Pure will skip PGL Wallachia Season 7, and Parker gets another chance to play professionally much earlier than expected. Some people joked in the announcement replies, saying that Tundra should get a substitute for Parker in case he gives up during PGL Wallachia as well.

For now, we will keep a close eye on both Parker and Tundra and hope they deliver their best performances in what feels like the weirdest stand-in announcement in the history of professional Dota 2.
