In a shocking turn of events, PARIVISION has been disqualified from the Europe RMRs after it was revealed that a Valve-banned individual was present during their closed qualifier matches. This decision comes from Perfect World, the organizers behind the Shanghai Major, who acted swiftly following the incident.

Violation Exposed After Post-Match Video

The disqualification arose after a video surfaced on social media, showing PARIVISION's post-match celebrations following their 2-1 victory over GamerLegion in the crucial qualification match. The now-deleted footage featured several staff members surrounding the team, including their coach, Ivan "F_1N" Kochugov.

F_1N's Controversial Past

F_1N is notorious in the CS community for being one of over 30 coaches suspended in 2020 for exploiting the infamous coach bug, which allowed unfair access to information during matches. His use of the bug in six official matches for a total of 34 rounds led to a permanent ban from Valve-sanctioned events, while the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) imposed an additional nine-month ban from their member events.

Despite F_1N's ban, PARIVISION reportedly listed him as their official coach in their lineup for the Major cycle, a serious oversight that went unnoticed until the video emerged. Valve’s rules strictly prohibit team staff from being in the same room as players during online matches in the Major cycle, compounding the severity of the infraction.

Europe RMRs Bracket Adjustment

With PARIVISION disqualified, a three-team single-elimination bracket will determine the final spot in the Europe RMRs. The teams vying for this coveted position are BLEED, Monte, and KOI, all of whom finished Closed Qualifier A with a 2-3 record. Due to their superior Bucholz score, BLEED has received a bye into the final decider match, where they will face the winner of the Monte vs. KOI match.

The upcoming matches are as follows:

  • Match 1: KOI vs. Monte
  • Match 2: Winner of match 1 vs. Bleed

PARIVISION rifler Robert "Patsi" Isyanov has spoken out regarding his team's disqualification from the Europe RMRs. In a candid statement, he described the situation as "the most ridiculous and sad situation in a career (if not in life)."

Patsi's comment reflects the deep disappointment and frustration within the team as they grapple with the consequences of the oversight that led to their disqualification. The rifler’s remarks highlight the emotional toll this event has taken on the players, who now find themselves removed from one of the most significant tournaments in the CS calendar.
