As the curtains draw on the last-ever BLAST Premier Fall Final, the stage is set for an epic Bo5 showdown in the Forum Copenhagen. Natus Vincere and G2 Esports will battle it out in what promises to be an unforgettable Grand Finals, a fitting send-off to one of Counter-Strike's most cherished tournaments.

Both teams emerged from the same group, with NAVI securing the top spot and G2 placing second after conceding their group stage match to the Black & Yellow squad. The tension has only escalated since that encounter, as G2 seeks redemption while NAVI looks to cement their dominance.

NAVI's Rising Momentum

Natus Vincere are arriving at the Grand Finals on a red-hot streak. With a recent triumph at ESL Pro League Season 20, NaVi have cemented themselves as one of the most dominant teams of 2024. They’ve consistently outperformed G2 in recent times. And their run at the Fall Final has only reinforced that dominance, with their most recent encounter making it 9-0 in the head-to-head

Much of NAVI's success has been attributed to Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov, who has truly come into his own during this tournament. The young prodigy, tasked with replacing the legendary s1mple, has definitely lived up to expectations, putting on stellar performances in nearly every match.

But NAVI's strength lies not just in w0nderful’s AWPing, but in the depth of talent across the roster. Justinas "jL" Lekavičius has once again proven himself as one of the best riflers in the game, while Valerij "b1t" Vakhovsjkyj and Mihai "iM" Ivan provide the aggressive firepower that often turns the tide in NaVi's favor. With a well-rounded squad, NAVI will be looking to assert their dominance once more and claim their fourth trophy of the year.

G2's Battle for Redemption

G2 Esports, on the other hand, have had a more tumultuous year. After their IEM Dallas victory, the roster underwent significant changes, with the departure of their former IGL Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen and the arrival of Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski. This change led to a period of inconsistency for G2, as they failed to claim any trophies since Dallas and found themselves repeatedly falling short against NAVI.

Despite this, G2 have shown signs of resurgence in the Fall Final. Standout performances from their star players—Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov—have been crucial in their journey to the Grand Final.

NiKo’s rifle skills were on full display especially against Vitality, reminding everyone why he’s considered one of the best in the world, while m0NESY’s AWP has been pivotal in key moments throughout the playoffs. Even Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, a recent addition, has provided crucial support in high-pressure situations.

However, G2’s path to victory is laden with challenges. They’ve fallen to NAVI nine times in a row, and their mental fortitude will be put to the test in this final clash.

Prediction: A 5-Map Thriller

The final showdown between NaVi and G2 is poised to be a nail-biting Bo5. NAVI’s current form and psychological advantage, having beaten G2 nine times in a row, gives them the edge in this matchup. However, G2’s firepower cannot be underestimated, and if all of G2 are firing on all cylinders, they could push NAVI to their limits.

Ultimately, NAVI’s tactical depth and consistent performance across all players make them the favorites. Expect this to be a close 3-2 victory for Natus Vincere, as they claim the BLAST Premier Fall Final trophy and secure their place at the BLAST World Final later this year.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
