Eternal Fire skyrocketed up the ESL rankings following their remarkable run in ESL Pro League Season 20, making it all the way to the Grand Final. Despite falling just short of the title, the Turkish squad leaped from 17th to 7th in the rankings, now trailing FaZe Clan by a mere 32 points.

This jump is especially notable considering Eternal Fire climbed from 23rd before the tournament began. Their ability to compete with and dominate some of the world's best teams has earned them a well-deserved spot among the top 10.

NAVI, the champions of ESL Pro League Season 20, officially claimed the number one spot in the ESL rankings, dethroning Team Vitality, who were ousted by Eternal Fire in the quarterfinals. Several other teams also saw significant boosts in their rankings, particularly the Brazilian squads. MIBR rose to 9th, while Imperial and Red Canids received a major bump, climbing 17 and 15 spots, respectively.

Eternal Fire has long been a dangerous team to face, constantly pulling off upsets against titans like FaZe Clan, MOUZ, and most recently, Team Vitality. Their crushing win over Vitality was a turning point in the tournament as it flipped the odds in their favor the following matches.

While their incredible performance in ESL Pro League has drawn attention, the real test lies ahead at IEM Rio 2024, which kicks off on October 7th. The challenge for Eternal Fire will be maintaining this high level of play on a bigger stage.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
