BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024: Format, Groups, and More

The BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 is just around the corner, kicking off tomorrow with eight of the world's best CS2 teams battling for a coveted spot at the BLAST Premier: World Final later this year.

With a mix of direct qualifiers and grueling Showdown survivors, the stage is set for some thrilling Counter-Strike action. Here's everything you need to know about the format, groups, and the prize pool.

Tournament Format

Group Stage:

The tournament will begin with the group stage, featuring two double-elimination format groups of four teams each. Every match will be played in a Bo3 format.

  • Top 3 teams from each group will progress to the playoffs.
    • The Group winners will advance directly to the semifinals.
    • The runners-up will move to the quarterfinals as high seeds.
    • The third-place teams from each group will also enter the quarterfinals, but as low seeds.

Playoffs:

Once the group stage concludes, the playoffs will follow a single-elimination bracket format. The tournament will play the quarterfinals and semifinals as Bo3, just like the group stage. While the grand final will feature a Bo5 showdown, making it a dramatic conclusion to the Fall Final.

Prize Pool and Rewards

With a total prize pool of $425,000 USD, here’s how the prize money and BLAST points will be distributed among the teams:

  • 1st place: $200,000 + Qualification to BLAST World Final + 3,200 BLAST Points
  • 2nd place: $85,000 + 2,200 BLAST Points
  • 3rd-4th place: $40,000 + 1,300 BLAST Points
  • 5th-6th place: $20,000 + 600 BLAST Points
  • 7th-8th place: $10,000 + 400 BLAST Points

The champion not only takes home the lion's share of the prize pool but also earns a coveted spot at the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, making every match in this tournament crucial for the teams.
