Monte has announced the addition of Martin "STYKO" Styk to their Counter-Strike roster, filling one of their vacant spots and solidifying their lineup ahead of upcoming competitions.

A New Chapter for STYKO

STYKO joins Monte after a period of free agency following his departure from Apeks. His move to Monte marks a fresh start for the Slovakian player, who expressed relief at leaving behind a challenging period with his previous team.

STYKO's career has seen highs and lows, including a memorable semi-final run at the BLAST Paris Major with Apeks. However, changes within the team and struggles to maintain momentum led to his departure and subsequent free agency.

Monte's Roster Evolution

The signing of STYKO follows a series of changes within the Monte roster. Initially facing the departure of two players, the team promoted replacements from Monte Gen, but subsequently sought to reinforce their lineup with experienced talent.

Monte faced challenges in online competitions but showed promise with a strong performance in the ESL Pro League Season 19, where they secured victories against FURIA and FORZE. STYKO's addition aims to bolster the team's capabilities as they prepare for future events.

Current Roster:

Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov remains as Head Coach.

Looking Ahead

With STYKO on board, Monte looks forward to competing at IEM Dallas, where they aim to showcase their strengthened roster. Rumors suggest that Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss may join as the final piece of the puzzle, further enhancing the team's prospects.
