LNG Esports, a leading Chinese esports organization, is undergoing a transformative phase with significant roster changes. The departure of Tarzan, the influential South Korean jungler, marks a shift in the team's dynamics. In response, LNG has welcomed Mark, a former Top Esports support player, and Weiwei, an accomplished jungler from Weibo Gaming. Contract extensions for key players Scout and GALA, along with Coach U, emphasize stability. The team has also added coaching prowess with Crescent from Top Esports and doG8 from Anyone's Legend.

Farewell to Tarzan

Tarzan, a South Korean professional League of Legends player who played as a jungler for LNG Esports, has parted ways with the team. Tarzan had been with the team since December 2020. He has been an integral part of taking LNG on their impressive runs in the LPL Summer 2023 and Worlds 2023.

New Signings

LNG Esports has signed two new players to their roster:

Mark is a former Top Esports support player, and Weiwei is a jungler from Weibo Gaming. Mark managed decent results in his previous team. Top Esports managed to get a 4th place finish in LPL Summer 2023. Meanwhile, Weiwei was part of a roster that had managed to finish in 2nd place at Worlds 2023.

Contract Extensions

LNG Esports has extended the contracts of the following players and coach:

  • Scout and GALA have both extended their contracts with LNG Esports. Scout plays in the Mid Lane, while GALA plays in the Bot Lane. Both players have spent almost a year in LNG and have provided satisfying results for the team.
  • Coach U has extended his contract as the Head Coach for LNG. He has been a core member of the team since 2021.

New Coaches

LNG Esports has also signed two new coaches:

  • Crescent has been brought in from Top Esports.
  • doG8 has been brought in from Anyone’s Legend.

Both coaches will provide valuable insight and direction in terms of the strategy for the 2024 season.

In the Long Run

These changes are expected to have a significant impact on the team’s performance in the upcoming season. It remains to be seen how the new players and coaches will fit into the team’s existing structure and how they will perform in the upcoming season. Fans of LNG Esports will be eagerly waiting to see how the team fares in the upcoming season.
