The new cinematic for Season 1 of 2025 in League of Legends has dropped, and fans could not be more excited about the latest addition to the game's vast repertoire of cinematic masterpieces. Themed around Noxus, like the whole of Season 1 will be, the cinematic showed several of the game champions, and plenty of relevant Noxian figures, further expanding on the game's rich lore.

Let's take a look at all of the League of Legends champions that appear in the Season 1 2025 cinematic: Welcome to Noxus!

Darius

Darius, The Hand of Noxus, in front of several trolls. To avoid an all-out brawl between his Noxian forces and the trolls, Darius appears as a champion of Noxus, ready to fight the trolls' chosen champion in a one-on-one bout.

The presence of Darius in this setting serves to display the Noxian empire's ambition, as their reach seeks to extend as far as the land of the trolls.

Trundle

The Troll King himself is seen in the Season 1 2025 cinematic ready to fight Darius to fend off the Noxian invasion. When Trundle appeared ready to defeat Darius after getting the best of him, the Noxian General just managed to turn the fight around after grabbing a hold of his axe. Defeated, Trundle was left to be carried away into safety by his fellow trolls.

Katarina

The Noxian assassin is seen in the latest cinematic dancing at ball. We do not know the woman on the screen is Katarina at first, though, as she is wearing a mask over her face. That is, until she goes for an assassination attempt.

Elise

Katarina's assassination attempt is thwarted by none other than the Spider Queen herself, Elise. The two are then immediately tossed into a battle for survival as each is doing their best to kill the other.

Vladimir

The Season 1 2025 cinematic shows Vladimir in a strange white room, presumably in connection to the white rose, having a conversation with one of the most enigmatic characters in the game.

LeBlanc

The addition of LeBlanc to the cinematic is a most welcome twist, and one that may just point towards a new direction for the continuation of Arcane. When LeBlanc and the Black Rose are involved, trouble is sure to follow: "Calamity is always approaching."

Mel - A new champion?

A prominent character during the Season 1 2025 cinematic was none other than Mel Medarda. The daughter of Ambessa, and former councilor for Piltover, played a big role in Season 2 of Arcane.

Now, it seems the League of Legends universe is not quite done with Mel yet. Taking such a frontal role in the latest cinematic, the release of Mel as the newest champion in the game seems now to be more a matter of when rather than if.
