LPL Split 1 2025: Format and Schedule

To start the year in the LPL, Splt 1 will begin with a Regular Season where all 16 teams will be divided into four groups based on their performance in 2024. During the Regular Season, teams will only play matches against other members of their group, playing each other once during a best-of-five series.

The groups will look as follows:

Group A

Group B

Group C

Group D

The top two teams of each group will move on to the LPL Split 1 Playoffs, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated from the tournament. The Playoffs will feature a double elimination bracket, and all matches will be best-of-five.

Here's what the LPL Split 1 Regular Season schedule will look like:

  • Week 1 & 2: Sunday, January 12th through Sunday, January 19th
  • Week 3: Monday, January 20th through Saturday, January 25th
  • Week 4 & 5: Saturday, February 8th through Sunday, February 16th

*All matches will start at 10 am CET

One of the most exciting parts of the LPL Split 1 format will be the addition of Fearless Draft throughout the tournament. This means that no champion can be picked more than once during any given series, adding a new layer of depth and excitement to the matches.

The winner of the Split 1 Playoffs will be the LPL Champions of 2025. Perhaps more importantly, however, the team to win will also earn their spot at the inaugural edition of First Stand, the game's new international tournament.
