Who Sings WATCH ME, K/DA's New Song?
"WATCH ME" is performed by Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb, who provide the vocals for Evelynn and Kai'Sa in K/DA's latest project. Both artists also appeared on "FIRESTARTER," the EP's lead single, alongside MIYEON and SOYEON of i-dle.
This marks Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb's first collaboration with Riot Games' virtual group. In previous releases, Evelynn and Kai'Sa have been voiced by artists including Madison Beer, Jaira Burns, Bea Miller, and Wolftyla.
What Is K/DA's WATCH ME About?
The lyrics of "WATCH ME" focus on self-confidence, fame, and the ability to command attention. The song portrays K/DA's members as figures who dominate the spotlight, combining references to fashion, social media, and their public image.
The chorus centers on the phrase "Watch me," reinforcing the idea that the performers are constantly in the spotlight. The lyrics also reference luxury brands, fashion magazines, and the attention the group attracts.
One of the song's recurring images is a hurricane, used to represent K/DA's arrival and the impact the group makes. The lyrics also play with the idea that a single social media post could generate an overwhelming amount of attention.
The track follows the musical identity K/DA has developed since its debut, blending K-pop elements with international pop influences.
WATCH ME Was Rumored Before K/DA's Comeback
The title "WATCH ME" was already familiar to fans who followed the early rumors surrounding K/DA's return. In August 2026, a song with that title appeared in records from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), linked to K/DA.
At the time, the discovery sparked speculation about a possible new song, but Riot Games had not officially confirmed the group's comeback.
Confirmation arrived in October, when the developer announced the four-track "FIRESTARTER" EP, featuring "WATCH ME," "NEVER GOING BACK," and "GIRLS (w/ DJ Sona)."
The first release of this new era was "FIRESTARTER," which received a music video on October 18 and marked the group's return after nearly six years without new music.
When Are K/DA's Next Music Videos Coming Out?
K/DA still has several releases scheduled for the coming weeks. Riot Games revealed the full music video release schedule for the "FIRESTARTER" EP, including a special production featuring DJ Sona.
Here are the upcoming releases:
- October 27: "NEVER GOING BACK" visualizer featuring MIYEON and SOYEON.
- November 3: early release of the "GIRLS (w/ DJ Sona)" video on Spotify.
- November 5: general release of the "GIRLS (w/ DJ Sona)" video.
- November 14: K/DA's live performance at the Worlds 2026 final.
The dates were announced in US time. Since Riot has not specified individual premiere times for the videos, release dates may vary depending on the viewer's time zone.
"NEVER GOING BACK" is performed by MIYEON and SOYEON, while "GIRLS" features Sophie Powers, Sorana, and Royal & The Serpent, alongside DJ Sona, the music-themed League of Legends character.
Beyond the upcoming video releases, K/DA is confirmed to perform at the Worlds 2026 Final Opening Ceremony alongside True Damage. The event will take place on November 14 at Barclays Center in New York City.
