K/DA is back, bolder and brighter than ever, ready to set the stage ablaze. The League of Legends virtual K-pop group has made its comeback with the new track “Firestarter” and will join True Damage for a performance during the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 World Championship at the Barclays Center in New York.

K/DA Takes the Stage at Worlds 2026 Finals

If there is one group that knows how to put on a show, it’s K/DA. After six years since their last release, the virtual K-pop group is making its comeback with a new EP, set to drop on October 21.

According to Riot Games, K/DA’s new chapter is about evolution, leaving old expectations behind, setting the past on fire, and embracing what comes next.

With the FIRESTARTER EP, we wanted to respect what made people fall in love with K/DA while giving Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa the space to evolve as artists after all this time. This is K/DA stepping confidently into their next chapter, with a new look, attitude and a diverse group of songs to showcase their individual journeys. We're excited for players and fans to experience everything that comes with this creative evolution.

Maria Egan, Global Head of Music & Events at Riot Games

The EP features four tracks: “FIRESTARTER,” “WATCH ME,” “NEVER GOING BACK,” and “GIRLS,” a collaboration with DJ Sona, one of League of Legends’ earliest virtual artists. You can pre-order the EP here.

K/DA will return to the stage for the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship Finals, taking place at the Barclays Center in New York on November 14. The group last performed at the League of Legends World Championship Finals in 2018.

This year, K/DA returns with two new voices, as Sophie Powers and Mimi Webb take on the roles of Evelynn and Kai’Sa, respectively. They join SOYEON and MIYEON from the K-pop group i-dle, bringing a fresh sound to one of League of Legends’ most iconic virtual girl groups.

Since their debut with the hit “POP/STARS,” K/DA has become a global pop phenomenon, amassing over 2.7 billion streams and 1.8 billion video views.

Their debut single also earned RIAA platinum certification, cementing the group’s impact beyond the League of Legends universe.

New K/DA Skins

K/DA’s return goes beyond the stage, with a new batch of skins coming to League of Legends. Ahri and Kai’Sa will receive new Epic skins, while Evelynn is getting both a Legendary skin and a Mythic Variant. Akali will also receive a Mythic Variant.

All the skins are coming to the game on November 4, alongside League of Legends Patch 26.22.
