The last few months have been nothing but drama for Heroic. The cadiaN-stavn-Jabbi debacle concluded with them with just two full-time members in sjuush and TeSeS.

Since the fallout that almost destroyed them, Heroic are in process to revive their squad, they announced Nertz as the first member of the rebuild. Today, Heroic announced the addition of  Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi.

The 23-year-old Danish Awper started his professional career in 2016 with a nameless organization. His first break came with 9INE in 2020 followed by a brief stint with Tikitakan and Team Singularity before ending up on Copenhagen Flames in October 2020.

The team was a major competitive force in 2021 but rose to prominence in 2022. During the 2022 season, they qualified for IEM Dallas, and PGL Major Antwerp 2022. Around the same time, they won the Nordic Masters. Coming into the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, the squad did not have much expectations but they made an amazing run to the Champions stage.

Nicoodoz found his way to Fnatic after the CPH Flames stint. The team had a good start together, even winning the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 together. But that was the highest point for the team.

He was benched in July 2023 and later joined Preasy Esport. Together with them, he won the CCT Online Finals #4 and European Pro League Season 12 recently. He will be Heroic’s fourth player and the awper to replace CadiaN.

The current Heroic Counter-Strike squad is as follows:

The last member of the squad is yet to be finalized. But the team is shaping up great in preparation for 2024. They will debut at the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2024.
