Group B Upper Bracket: G2 Esports & MIBR

G2 Esports put on a near-flawless performance in Group B. Thus, cementing their status as one of the most dangerous teams in the competition. Despite a brief setback with a map loss against 3DMAX on Anubis, G2’s run to the playoffs was largely unchallenged. Their roster's depth was evident, with standout performances from Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, and Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa.

NiKo’s fragging ability, combined with m0NESY's explosive impact with the AWP, made G2 a nightmare for opponents. Their dominant victories ensured their spot in the upper bracket finals, where they would go on to defeat MIBR, securing the top seed for Group B.

MIBR also showcased remarkable resilience throughout the group stage. Their journey to the upper bracket finals was no small feat. One of the highlights of their run was their upset over Team Spirit, powered by Russian prodigy Danil "donk" Kryshkovets. MIBR’s key players, Rafael "saffee" Costa and Felipe "insani" Yuji, rose to the occasion with clutch performances that turned the tide in their favor.

Though MIBR eventually fell to G2 in the finals, their performance was nothing to scoff at. They punched their ticket to the playoffs, proving that they belong among the elite.

Group B Middle Bracket: Team Spirit

After a tough loss to MIBR in the upper bracket, Team Spirit found themselves in the middle bracket, needing to reset and rally for a playoff spot. This was when Danil "donk" Kryshkovets truly made his mark. The 17-year-old delivered back-to-back 50+ kill series against The MongolZ and 3DMAX. Once again solidifying his reputation as one of the game’s brightest talents. Even Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov couldn’t keep up with the young star’s firepower. The Russian AWPer could only get within touching distance in one series.

With donk’s breakout performances leading the way, Team Spirit managed to secure their playoff berth and are entering the next stage of the competition as a team that no one will want to face.

Group B Lower Bracket: The MongolZ

The MongolZ had a challenging path to the playoffs, facing elimination after their middle bracket loss to Team Spirit. However, they rallied back with strong performances, dispatching 9z and exacting revenge on 3DMAX to claim the final playoff spot from Group B. Their flawless victories showcased their ability to adapt under pressure, but they still enter the playoffs as the weakest team from their group.

Ranked 11th in the ESL World Rankings, The MongolZ carry the hopes of the Asian region on their shoulders, especially with Lynn Vision eliminated in Group A and Atox yet to play in Group D. As the only remaining Asian team in the playoffs, they will once again have to step up to prove that they can compete on the world stage.
