Danil "donk" Kryshkovets is no stranger to strong performances. The 17 y.o. has risen through ranks in the past year and has swiftly become a force to be reckoned with in CS2.

The Russian prodigy has yet again sent waves across the Counter-Strike world after putting up an jaw-dropping 2.54 KDR performance against Wildcard last night. During the game, he also set the new CS2 record for most kills on a single map (38 kills). Donk had already previously set a top 10 record in the same category last year - with 35 kills against The Chosen Few.

The game played was the opening game of ESL Pro League S20 Group B. Coming into the tournament, Team Spirit were the favorites to make a deep run, especially to qualify for the playoffs as the top seed.

The game started on Ancient with Team Spirit starting strong with an 8-4 half and fortunately closing it out 13-11 avoiding overtime. During the game, Donk put up an incredible 38/12/3 KDA performance.

He finished the map with a 3.16 KDR, ADR of 155 and KAST of 79.2%. He followed it up with 37/17/3 KDA and 79.3% KAST on Nuke after Team Spirit won the map 16-13, winning the series 2-0.

The performance is arguably the best we have seen so far, not just in Counter-Strike 2 but arguably Counter-Strike as a whole, only second to KRiMZ’s 44 kill performance in regulation back in CS:GO. Earlier this year, donk also set the record for highest rating at an S-tier event, matching NiKo’s record.

At only 17 years of age, donk has been a deciding factor in majority of the games won by Team Spirit, with his career just blooming, he is on road to become one of the greatest players to ever touch Counter-Strike.
