After months of anticipation and speculation within the Rainbow Six Siege community, FURIA Esports has officially announced the acquisition of the entire championship-winning roster from w7m esports.

The Six Invitational 2024 was supposedly the last dance for the w7m players, as their contracts were coming to an end, and were not being renewed. But this move from FURIA breathes fresh life into the reigning world champions.

On March 11th, 2024, FURIA Esports took to Twitter to unveil their latest roster acquisition. Jaime Padua, founder of FURIA, expressed his excitement and gratitude.

"We are very happy to have one of the most successful lineups in the world of esports today."

He highlighted the rigorous process of negotiations and international competition that led to this logical outcome, emphasizing the undeniable synergy between the players both in and out of the game.

With their proven track record of success, the transition from w7m to FURIA promises to be a seamless one for the players. Bringing over the entire roster along with the coaching staff and analysts, the team is poised to continue their winning streak and make their mark on the global stage.

FURIA's Vision

FURIA Esports has long been known for its commitment to excellence. The organization is dedicated to fostering top-tier talent across various esports titles. By adding the former w7m roster to their ranks, FURIA reaffirms its position as a powerhouse in the competitive Rainbow Six Siege scene. The organization also reinforces its vision of building a championship-caliber team.

The Brazilians will also now take part in the BLAST R6 Brazilian League. Moreover, FURIA sees Ubisoft and its partners as integral to the ongoing evolution of the esports ecosystem. Thus expressing confidence in their collective efforts to create a more sustainable future for the industry.

“The return to @R6esportsBR is also a response to our community that has always loved the game and wanted to see our organization competing again in the fps.”

All eyes will be on this roster as they embark on this new chapter to see how they fare in upcoming tournaments and competitions.

Looking Ahead

The acquisition of the entire w7m roster by FURIA Esports represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of competitive Rainbow Six Siege.

This newly formed team brings together a blend of talent, experience, and ambition. As they take a step forward on this exciting journey together, fans can expect nothing short of excellence. And as Padua aptly stated, "This is FURIA! And we won't stop here!"
