After a year of creating content and connecting with fans as part of Fnatic, Marc "Caedrel" Lamont has officially parted ways with the organization. Through their announcement, Fnatic took the opportunity to thank Caedrel for his contributions during his time as a streamer and talent under the historic organization's banner.

As Caedrel steps away from his role at Fnatic, his focus will shift towards his latest endeavor. Moving into the new season of professional play, Caedrel will continue to build and coach Los Ratones, his newly-formed League of Legends team. This marks a significant turning point in Caedrel’s career, as he transitions from content creation back towards competing in the esports scene.

Caedrel - Leading the Los Ratones assault

Caedrel's time with Fnatic amounted to a fruitful and dedicated partnership, that much is certain. Now, though, the time has come for Caedrel to look for bigger things.

Los Ratones, Caedrel's new team spearheaded by former LEC stars Tim "Nemesis" Lipovšek and Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, are already set to compete in the NLC in 2025. The inclusion of the team will mean that the Northern European tier-2 league is set to become one of the most attractive in all the ERLs coming into the new year.

Set on assuming the role of Head Coach of Los Ratones, Caedrel's exit from Fnatic is entirely understandable. That being said, however, the amount of energy, sense of humor, and overall positivity Caedrel brought to the Fnatic name will no doubt be missed moving forward.
