Challengers in NA taking shape: Former XSET COO announces M80 Valorant squad

With the VCT NA challengers less than a month away, multiple challenger teams are coming forward. Amongst others, G2, TSM, and V1, is some of the most exciting parts of NA Challengers 2023. A few weeks ago, Reports of the XSET Co-founder starting a team came to light. Today, Marco Mereu, the COO of XSET, announced his new organization, M80, along with their Valorant roster. The roster comprises talented tier 1 Valorant players from the prominent organization from the NA region.

The M80 Valorant Roster is as follows:

  • Alexander "Zander" Dituri (IGL)
  • Daniel "eeiu" Vucenovic
  •  Mohamed "johnqt" Amine Ouarid
  • Marc-Andre "NiSMO" Tayar
  • Gianfranco "koalanoob" Potestio
  • Gunter (Coach)

Zander was amongst the most talented upcoming IGLs in the game. He was critical for V1's success post the departure of their former IGL Vanity. Eeiu played alongside s0m, hazed, Ethan and Tex. They were among the top teams in NA Valorant, and eeiu was among the top Operator players in the region. The Ghost gaming trio helped the team win multiple tier 2 and tier 3 events and made a significant run at the VCT NA Challengers.

The roster will be amongst the most talented young in the region and will face off against some tact-fps veterans in Shahzam, Subroza-led Sentinels, TSM, etc. With the slogan, all roads lead to ascension, the team has their eyes set on the Ascension league and the single Americas spot for the 2024 VCT Premier league.

The first split VCT Challengers 2023 season will kick off next month on January 14th. Some confirmed teams for the upcoming split will be The Guard, TSM, G2 Esports, Version 1, and numerous others, along with rumored organizations by Toast and Mr. Beast. M80 Valorant has the talent to go toe-to-toe with these rosters and will be one of the contenders going into 2023 Valorant Challengers.
