On January 15 a.k.a 115 day, Treyarch announced their plans for the upcoming Season 02 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. One of the biggest surprises dropped during the announcement is the new Zombies map “The Tomb”.

New Black Ops 6 Zombies Map - The Tomb:

With an experience similar to Liberty Falls, the story of “The Tomb” follows the protagonist's journey after the horrific events of Citadelle des Morts in search of the Sentinels Artifact.

The new map will feature a plethora of Easter Eggs, a reimagined Wonder Weapon from the game’s past and one of the the most iconic SMGs in Zombie history.

Treyarch with Kevin Sherwood and team have composed a metal OST featuring a guest vocalist for the new addition to Zombies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies New Map “The Tomb” Release Date

The new map will release along with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 02 on January 28. Further details of the upcoming season will be announced closer to the release date.

To celebrate Day 115, COD also announced 2x GobbleGum earn rate, 2x Weapon, Player and Battlepass XP and is available until January 21.

Despite the recent issues with multiplayer and warzone, the falling number and ever-present cheater problem, the influx of new content for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is commendable. The COD Zombies community has longed for updates and content and finally getting a good update will surely bring them back.
