A month after departing from Natus Vincere, the Russian IGL Kirill "Boombl4'' Mikhaylov is set to return to active competition soon. The former Navi IGL will lead an All-Russian CSGO squad representing 1win. As reported by the CIS CS:GO insider Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov, Boombl4 will play alongside former Entropiq Duo Forester and Nickelback.

Boombl4 had great stints in some CIS teams, starting with Quantum Bellator Fire, who had an impressive run at the Boston Major. He made a name for himself with Winstrike and later joined Natus Vincere in May 2019. He replaced Edward on the roster. Later the same year, Zeus retired, and Boombl4 assumed the role of the team's IGL.

With S1mple at the helm, young talent in Perfecto, and later with B1t, Natus Vincere amassed immense strength. Despite having a shaky performance in the online era, going into the 2021 returning LAN season, they were the strongest teams. Come PGL Major Stockholm 2023, Navi and Boombl4 dominated their competition to get their hands on the Major trophy. They were the best team in 2021, and coming into 2022, they started well. Unfortunately, Contraversies surround Boombl4, and Navi decided to bench him. A month ago, after seven months on the bench, Boombl4 announced his F/A.

Boombl4's comeback:

Now, Boombl4 will be returning to active competition with 1win. The roster will feature the forester and Nickelback from Entropiq. The Trio will join raw CIS Awping talent in Denis "Deko" Zhukov and Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv. The roster currently houses flamie, glowing, and Lollipop2k, who'd have to leave the team to make room for the incoming player. Currently, 1win is in a bad situation, and adding a major Champion in Boombl4 and Tier talent in with Forester and Nickelback will surely add to the team's power. The role of IGL will also be up for the taking as both Nickelback and Boombl4 have been IGLs. The roster moves are yet to be confirmed by either party.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
