The Russian IGL Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhaylov has announced his departure from the Ukrainian Esports Organisation Natus Vincere after a strong and accomplished two years with the roster. With the roster, Boombl4 won the coveted Major for Natus Vincere in CSGO.

NaVi picked up the Boombl4 from the winstrike team back in 2019. The player took over the IGL role on the team after Zeus left the roster. Old Navi was over with departure of EdwarD. Perfecto and B1t joined the team, forming a Major winning team. The team played together through 2020, and when the LAN returned, the team became the best in the world.

The team crushed the competitors at the major and continued marching toward the finals. S1mple and Navi popped off at the finals and won their first CSGO Major at PGL Major Stockholm. Coming into 2022, Navi started strong, but things quickly worsened. On May 28th, Boombl4's girlfriend made a statement about his drug abuse. And a comment on the Russia-Ukraine conflict led to Navi Benching the Russian IGL. Boombl4 cleared his name on drug abuse, but Navi, to avoid a controversial figure, moved ahead without Boombl4 since the player has been on Natus Vincere's bench. Currently, Navi plays with npl.

Boombl4 today announced his free agency from Navi as his contract expired.

Boombl4 will be looking for offers and is rumored to make the team with Forester and kairon under the BetBOOM banner. The player will be looking to achieve greater results and will be looking to win multiple tournaments.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
