First High Match of the day had us see Monte manhandling NaVi as they take the series 2-0. First map was Anubis, where both teams put up quite a decent fight. However, Monte’s better CT-side allowed them to win the game 16-12.

Moving on to Nuke, Monte showed everyone a CT masterclass. They only allowed NaVi to take 2 rounds as they ended the first half 13-2. kRaSnaL also got in an Ace early in the map.  They also took the remaining 3 maps right after the break, making for a 13 round win streak. They won the game 16-2, and secured their spot in the Champions Stage.

Game 2: Team Liquid vs Into the Breach

Team Liquid managed to be the only American team in the Champions Stage, as they won 2-0 over ITB. The first map was Overpass, where ITB had a strong start, managing to end the first half 10-5. However, Liquid made the comeback possible, and got to Map Point first. But ITB pushed it into Overtime. Liquid continued this form, and won the map 19-17.

Map 2 was Anubis, where they had a dominant victory. They had a 13 round win streak in the middle of the game. Which allowed them to win the map 16-9.

Game 3: Apeks vs GamerLegion

GamerLegion had a very dominant win against Apeks, as they swept the series 2-0. Map 1 was Ancient, where GL had Apeks in a chokehold. With a dominant CT and T-side, GL won the map 16-6.

Moving on to Overpass, it was a similar story. Nawwk, siuhy and isak each got a highlight clutch, as GL ended the first half 10-5. And even though Apeks tried to fight back, GL took the map win at 16-9. They have secured their spot in the Champions Stage.

Round 4 Low Matches:

Moving on to Ancient, NIP again had a strong CT-side. This time however, ENCE did manage to fight back. But k0nfig pulled out an Ace to secure the map 16-10.

Game 2: Faze Clan vs Bad News Eagles

Faze managed to keep themselves in the competition, as they beat BNE 2-1 in the series. Map 1 was Overpass, where BNE had all the answers for karrigan and his strats. Faze could only muster 3 rounds, as BNE took the map 16-3.

However, Faze bounced back on Mirage. BNE again had the upper hand as both teams traded rounds. But Faze managed to push the map into Overtime in Round 30. They then had a perfect CT-side to win the map 19-17.
