Counter-Strike is ramping up for another memorable year in esports, and IEM Katowice 2025 promises an exciting new chapter for CS2. Set to begin on January 29th, IEM Katowice will feature a Play-In stage where sixteen teams will have to battle for a spot in the Group Stage.

Meanwhile, another eight teams will complete the line-up for the event. These teams will qualify straight to the Group Stage without having to go through Play-Ins thanks to their higher standings in the Valve ranking.
