Team BDS has dropped Juš "Crownie" Marušič according to sources tied to LEC Wooloo.

Reasons Made Unclear

Crownie went on to make his own post regarding the matter shortly after the leak had been posted. In his post, he stated he was shocked by the news since he had the intention of continuing to play for BDS in the LEC for 2024.

Some notable LoL streamers and content creators criticized BDS' management over the removal of Crownie without communication. The criticism talks about how esports organizations tend to look at the results of international events alone instead of looking at the entire year with context.

It is not set in stone if another team will pickup Crownie. Alternatively, it is not confirmed if he will be retiring out of the LEC and into another region. The newly entered esports organization Karmine Corp, who recently announced they will be participating in the LEC, could potentially pickup Crownie. Keep updated on this matter by checking Strafe news.
