Round 1 Matchups: The Action Kicks Off!

Here's a look at the schedule for the opening matchups, all of which you can follow right here on Strafe:

The draw was a bit of a nightmare scenario for the two North American teams at Worlds, as they will have to face off against the two finalists from last year's World Championship to kick things off. Fortune smiled on their Brazilian counterparts of Vivo Keyd Stars, however, as they will take on the #2 seed from the LCP in their first game of the Swiss Stage.

For G2, the path ahead is a tough one after drawing Top Esports, a team that came very close to winning the LPL just weeks ago. Without a doubt, though, the most stellar opening match of the Worlds Swiss Stage will come when Hanwha Life take on Anyone's Legend, two teams that could well be gunning for the trophy.

Will the West survive their first round of tests at Worlds 2025? Catch the start of the Swiss Stage to find out!
