Alexander “jawgemo” Mor is reportedly set to join Team Vitality for the 2027 VALORANT Champions Tour season. According to Alejandro “Anonimotum” Gomis of Sheep Esports, the 2023 world champion has reached a verbal agreement with the French organization after spending the past two seasons with G2 Esports.

The reported signing would see jawgemo replace Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev, who left Vitality in October following the team's runner-up finish at VALORANT Champions 2026.

Vitality's Search for a New Duelist

Vitality officially parted ways with Derke on October 24, shortly after reaching the VALORANT Champions 2026 final. The Finnish duelist, who joined the organization in October 2024, subsequently signed with Aurora Gaming's newly announced VALORANT roster on October 28.

With Derke gone, Vitality began looking for a replacement. Sheep Esports reports that the organization considered several options, including former Team Heretics player Mert “Wo0t” Alkan, before moving forward with jawgemo.

Vitality also secured its place among the eight organizations selected for the 2027-2028 VCT EMEA partnership cycle. If the deal is finalized, jawgemo would continue competing in a partnered league, this time in Europe rather than the Americas.

jawgemo's G2 Tenure and His Potential Replacement

Before joining G2, jawgemo made his name internationally with Evil Geniuses, helping the organization win VALORANT Champions 2023. He stayed with the team in 2024 before signing with G2 ahead of the 2025 season.

His 2026 campaign included semifinal appearances at Masters Santiago and VALORANT Champions Shanghai. At Champions, G2 lost 2-0 to Vitality in the upper-bracket semifinals before being eliminated by 100 Thieves. If the reported transfer goes through, jawgemo would be joining the team that defeated G2 during that playoff run.

G2, meanwhile, is reportedly preparing to replace him. In a separate November 2 report, Sheep Esports revealed that the organization had reached a verbal agreement with former DRX duelist Song “HYUNMIN” Hyun-min for the 2027 season.

Neither move has been officially confirmed, but the two reports suggest that both organizations are already working toward their next starting lineups.

Vitality's 2026 Season and Champions Final Run

Vitality had an inconsistent 2026 season before putting together its strongest run of the year at Champions Shanghai. After missing Masters Santiago, the French organization finished second in VCT EMEA Stage 1 and reached the top four at Masters London.

The team struggled again during Stage 2, leaving its Champions qualification dependent on circuit points. Nevertheless, Vitality secured a place at the world championship and went on to deliver its best performance of the season.

In Shanghai, Vitality defeated Nongshim RedForce, G2 and 100 Thieves during the playoffs to reach the grand final. The team's title hopes ended with a 3-1 defeat to LOUD, which became the first organization to win two VALORANT Champions trophies.

Team Vitality's Reported Roster for 2027

According to Sheep Esports, jawgemo is expected to join the four players who finished the 2026 season with Vitality. The projected lineup is:

Neither Vitality nor G2 has officially announced jawgemo's transfer, so his reported agreement with the French organization remains unconfirmed.
