VALORANT Surpasses 100 Million Registered PC Accounts in China
VALORANT has surpassed 100 million registered accounts on PC in China. The milestone was announced on Tuesday (October 27) through the game's official Chinese channels.
The figure reflects cumulative registrations on China's PC servers and does not include VALORANT Mobile. It also does not mean that 100 million people are currently playing the FPS, as registered accounts and active players are different metrics.
VALORANT Reaches the Milestone in China in Just Over Three Years
VALORANT reached the milestone just over three years after launching in China on July 12, 2023. The game arrived in the country after its global launch in June 2020, with local operations handled by Tencent.
In an interview with Chinese outlet GameGrape, executives involved in the game's local operations said that 55% of new Chinese VALORANT players were trying a PC game for the first time, suggesting the title has also attracted an audience beyond traditional FPS players.
Riot Offers Rewards to Celebrate 100 Million Accounts
To celebrate the PC milestone, Riot Games and Tencent prepared a rewards campaign for players on the Chinese servers, running from October 27 to November 27, 2026.
Commemorative items include a themed player card, an emblem, stickers, and an Agent Token. According to the local announcement, players can participate by logging into the Chinese PC version, with additional benefits tied to VALORANT's official companion app in China. The campaign has not been announced for Brazilian servers.
VALORANT Mobile Also Reaches 100 Million Registrations
VALORANT's success in China is not limited to PC. Released in the country on August 19, 2025, VALORANT Mobile had already surpassed 100 million registered users in July 2026, before its first anniversary.
Developed by Riot Games in partnership with LIGHTSPEED STUDIOS, the game for Android and iOS amassed more than 70 million pre-registrations before launch. In May 2026, it also surpassed 10 million daily active players in China. These figures apply specifically to the mobile version and should not be confused with the newly announced PC registrations.
While the international release still has no official date, VALORANT Mobile continues to receive exclusive content in China. One upcoming addition is the Trickster Invasion Halloween mode, in which eliminated players become ghosts, scheduled to run from October 29 to November 11.
