This approach not only enhances fan engagement but also deepens the connection between viewers and the tournament.

How to do your VALORANT 2024 Champions Pick'Ems?

1. Accessing the Pick'em Challenge

You can access the Pick'em Challenge through two platforms. First, you can navigate to the Esports Hub within your VALORANT client. Alternatively, you can participate online by visiting valorantesports.com. Both platforms aim to offer a seamless way to engage with the challenge and make your predictions.

2. Making & Submitting Your Picks

The Pick'em Challenge consists of two main stages: the Group Stage and the Playoff Stage, each one with its own deadline and expectation. Late submissions will not be accepted, so mark your calendars:

  • August 1st closes the submission window of the Group Stage;
  • Playoffs predictions will happen between August 11th and 14th;

**Important: Missing the deadlines means missing out on the opportunity to compete and earn rewards.

Tracking your progress

After submitting your picks, you can track your progress through the community leaderboard. This feature allows you to compare your predictions with those of friends, other players, and even VALORANT creators. In-game notifications will keep you updated on your standing and any rewards you’ve earned based on the accuracy of your picks.

Strafe Picks: Valorant Champions 2024 Group Stage Pick'em Challenge

Now, let’s dive into our expert picks for the VALORANT Champions 2024 Group Stage to progress into the Playoffs and the reason behind each one of them. Our picks are based on a combination of team performance, individual player brilliance, and overall consistency throughout the year.

1. Group A -> Fnatic (1st) and KRÜ Esports (2nd)

In this first Group, there was an overall agreement within Strafe that Fnatic is going to qualify and this will most likely happen with relative ease, unless someone pulls off an out-of-this-world performance. Now, on the second pick, a majority of us defended KRU going forward in the competition but there were some fair arguments to put both Bilibili and DRX going through. However, KRU's recent performance in VCT Americas have made them our definitive suggestion for this guide.

2. Group B -> Gen.G (1st) and  Team Heretics (2nd)

The second group of this tournament is one of the hardest to find favorites, maybe alongside Group D. While it was clear to us that all teams had the potential to fight for a Playoff spot, we decided to choose Gen.G and Team Heretics to edge this one out. Gen.G is arguably the best team of this group and have in Karon their difference-maker. On the second spot, however, Team Heretics' mental and physical health being a huge concern may be the difference between success and failure, but we are still considering their recent form and the rest period until their debut to be enough.

3. Group C -> Leviatán (1st), Team Vitality (2nd)

If Groups B and D are hard to define, Group C is the complete opposite. Leviatán and Team Vitality should have no trouble advancing in the competition, with the only question remaining is in which spot they will do so. We are picking Leviatán to beat Vitality mainly due to Erick 'aspas' Santos unmatchable fragging skills and the recent spike in Ian "tex" Botsch's performance that puts the Argentinian team as one of the main candidates for the title.

4. Group D -> Paper Rex (1st), G2 Esports (2nd)

This Group was definitely the hardest to define which ones we would pick, but ultimatelly we chose Paper Rex's unpredictableness alongside their mechanical skills as the difference makers in this first stage of the competition. The second spot was REALLY tough for us as we were split between EDG and G2 Esports but at the end we went with G2 as they showed a really strong second half of the regional Split.
