KPop Demon Hunter Star Collabs with VCT Pacific for New Anthem 'superHuman'

VCT Pacific has unveiled its Stage 2 music anthem, "superHuman," in collaboration with GRAMMY-winning Korean-American artist Audrey Nuna. The latest VALORANT music track will hit every major streaming platform globally on August 7, with VCT Pacific simultaneously premiering the official music video on its YouTube channel the same day.

Audrey Nuna's GRAMMY Milestone

For those in the unknown, Audrey Nuna made history at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards, where "Golden," her song from Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters, won Best Song Written for Visual Media, making it the first-ever GRAMMY win credited to K-pop.

Performed alongside EJAE and Rei Ami as the fictional group HUNTR/X, "Golden" also earned nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The track topped charts globally and achieved multi-platinum certifications across several countries. 

Coming off that historic win, Nuna now steps into the spotlight with "superHuman" — her first solo release since the milestone moment that redefined her career.

Inside the Sound

Created alongside acclaimed producer Cirkut, known for his work with Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and The Weeknd, "superHuman" is described as a progressive rap anthem built on fearless confidence and futuristic swagger. 

The track pairs Nuna's signature lyrical precision with a surprising vulnerability, shifting between razor-sharp verses and an ethereal, melodic bridge. Anchored by the declaration "Hey world, hit me with whatever you got," the song moves from bold style statements to imagery pulled from the natural world, capturing what the announcement calls the full scope of her artistry: power, versatility, and fearless self-expression

The Artist's Perspective

Nuna described the song as deeply personal, written during a period of rapid change in her life. "superHuman is a portal. I wrote this song at a time in my life where a lot was changing very quickly, and I felt more perceived by the world than I ever had before," she said.

"I wanted to capture that feeling — of redemption, of validation, of the tides finally turning. In the same breath, I wanted to quietly remind myself and others to stay human, stay open, to flow like water through all of the changes and that being more human will always be a superpower if we allow it."
